  Drowning is a leading cause of accidental death for kids under the age of five.  We need a safe year round facility where all children have access to swimming lessons

 Swimming is one of the most popular forms of aerobic exercise, and it is an excellent activity for anyone who wishes to get fit and stay fit. 

A world class Natatorium will bring visitors to Houston boosting revenue for hotels, restaurants and car rentals

Houston's current facilities rank far behind our neighbors in Austin, Dallas and San Antonio and do not have the capacity to host meets.   A link to some of best aquatic centers in the USA

The thousands of  age group and masters swimmers are forced to travel sixty plus miles to compete in a "local' meet. 

A world Class Aquatic Center would compliment the existing Houston sports arenas to make Houston the leading destination for sporting events.
