Water based rehabilitation for injuries from accidents and sports injuries has proven to be the best method for fast healing and strengthening.  As the populations ages water based exercise is  essential.  The aquatic center will host a  therapy area as well as multiple classes daily to encourage retirees to jump in and stay fit. 

The Aquatic Center will be the "home pool" for Houston School's Aquatic Sports.  Swimming, Water Polo , Diving and Synchronized swimming teams swill train and compete in the facility.

Swimming training programs for adults and triathletes are growing very fast in the Houston area.  The Aquatic Center will provide a convenient year-round facility for these programs to continue their growth. 

There are over 10,000 age group swimmers registered for competitive swimming in the area.   The Aquatic Center will provide local Clubs and Teams a place to train and compete.

Kayakers, Crew Teams, Dragon Boaters  and Scuba Divers need a safe place to learn the basics before venturing out into open water.
